Abstract

Production Committee utilized all available resources to collect the data used in preparing this Handbook. The materials found are the result of the efforts of the Production Committee to fulfill the assignment given to it by the Planning Committee. An effort has been made to develop a Handbook that can be used by teachers and others to foster the development of the human values inherent in om democratic society. No portion of the Handbook is considered more important that any other portion. An effort has been made to present a comprehensive picture of the total problem. Full benefit of the Handbook will come only as teachers, administrators, school board members and others study the entire volume.
