Abstract

In this white paper we will demonstrate an approach to these challenges that has been under development in our home institution for the past seven years. The ePortfolio project is a web-based innovation that allows our teacher education students to demonstrate their competency and share their work on websites that we provide. While the original impetus for this work was in professional placement-we wanted a platform where students could represent their strengths to potential employers-it has since become the means by which we can address state and national mandates for standards performance assessment.
