Abstract

The intent of this booklet is to offer interpretation and guidance in the implementation of the new Vocational Education standards which school districts and schools must meet by July 1, 1992. Each school or school district meeting these standards will be appropriately accredited with respect to Vocational Education by the Department of Education. The standards discussed here are minimum standards. They are not meant to define the very best we can offer Iowa students, but rather they define the minimum program opportunity that must be made available to students in our state.
