Abstract
This document includes two different listings of the state's boards and commissions to help you understand the different types of organization, their function and structure. The information provided in this section is designed to assist you in becoming an effective member of your board or commission. It includes some basic guides to the board/commission's role in the organization, an outline of your role as a board/commission member, and a checklist that can be used to gage your effectiveness.
