Abstract
The "Train Watcher's Guide for The C&NW" will assist you in locating and identifying trains on the Chicago and North Western Railway Company. Pin maps have landmarks often referred to in radio transmission, thus their inclusion. Model Railroaders will also find them handy for model prototypes and track layouts. Some additional reference points have been included for clarity in the subdivisions that are not listed in timetables. These are mentioned frequently by dispatchers and tram crews. Primary radio channels are listed only. Transmissions may and will occur on other C&NW radio frequencies. The information on alpha symbols, train types, way freights, interchanges, switch engine jobs, and so forth is updated monthly and is the latest information available and is not guaranteed to be 100 accurate.
