Abstract
This report, is intended to analyze the past and present effects of the essential air service (EAS) program in the state of Iowa, and also relate these effects to various deregulatory impacts. In addition, possible alternative courses of action are further outlined as proposed by various midwestern states, the Local Airline Service Action Committee, and the Regional Airline Association.
