Abstract
The purpose of the study was to carry out Traffic Engineering Studies to identify high hazard intersections. Upon identifying these locations, additional studies were then conducted to determine accident reducing countermeasures. The activity, carried out under this study, is fully discussed in this report. Results of the study are listed, and in the case of high hazard intersections, details concerning improvements are also provided. The data collection effort for this report was funded from a Highway Safety Grant administrated from the Iowa Department of Transportation.
