Abstract

This report has been prepared to present five possible improvements for Iowa 44 in Harrison County. The socio-economic needs of the area have been described and the general environmental impact expected from the project has been presented. This report will serve as a basis for a corridor public hearing on this project. The hearing will be held to inform those interested in the project's status and to solicit public views. After the hearing, a formal location decision will be made by the Iowa State Highway Commission.
