Abstract
The purpose of this article is to explain briefly in non-technical terms some of the conditions which exist on cars with headlights in condition as commonly found, to explain why the results are unsatisfactory and what can be done to improve them, and finally, to explain the principle of a few of the anti-glare devices which are becoming popular.
