Abstract
The state of Iowa was invited to exhibit at the Louisiana Purchase Exposition in St. Louis in 1904. It was decided that a fine building should be an important feature of the state's exhibit. This booklet gives the details of the planning, costs and the building of the Iowa Building as it was called. There are photographs and plan drawings of each of the three floors. There are also letters and speeches about the building by prominent Iowa officials involved in the project.
