Abstract
This paper deals with the nitrogen produced by livestock activities. The coefficients that have been previously used are given in Table 1 together with the units used for each type of livestock. This study is undertaken to revise these coefficients in light of recent technical standards on animal wastes and to identify any regional differences in the coefficients. To relate the current procedure with the previous one, a review of the data and methods used by Vocke and Nicol is presented.
