Abstract
In order that as many people as possible may become acquainted with those wild forms which inhabit the fields, forests, lakes and the water courses, this bulletin presents condensed account of the general characteristics of game mammals found in Iowa. Animals included are Opossum, Coyote, Eastern Raccoon, Red fox, Spotted skunk, Striped skunk, Badger, Beaver, Muskrat, Western Fox squirrel, Northern gray squirrel, Cottontail, White-tailed jackrabbit, and white-tailed deer.
