Abstract
This information was then used to prepare summaries of each state's program and develop a comparison with Iowa's program. In conducting the survey, emphasis was placed on those aspects of the state programs that dealt with confinement feeding operations. Although all of the states have active animal waste control programs and the programs are generally addressing similar issues, there is considerable variation between states in terms of how they are dealing with these issues.
