Abstract
This report for the Sixteenth General Assembly you will observed that almost the entire appropriation is required to pay the teachers salaries. The number of teachers employed has not as large are as in the Normal Schools of other States having a less number of students and the appropriation granted had not allowed the payment of salaries usually awarded the same positions in other State Normal Schools.
