Abstract
Farmers affected by the recent floods in Iowa should be aware that ruined grain and hay must be disposed of properly and safely to avoid combustion. The Department of Natural Resources is responsible for protecting public health and the environment. During times of disaster the DNR waives specific solid waste disposal rules to speed safe and efficient disposal of generated wastes.
