Abstract
These guidelines relate primarily to Chapter 455B, Code of Iowa, 1973 and the Departmental Rules, which were issued pursuant to the authority of Section 406, Code of Iowa. It is assumed that the selection of the site has been preceded by the determination of the waste generation centroids and that the merits and limitations of the site have been fully assessed. The sequence suggested in the guidelines is intended to correspond as closely as possible to the steps that are taken in preparing an application for a sanitary landfill permit. The additional data suggested, especially with respect to wells, may be difficult
