Abstract
This guide has been prepared in terms of the recommendations of the 1964 National Conference on School Transportation . It must be emphasized that these are only suggestions and must be adjusted on the basis of local needs. An effort was made in developing this guide to fulfill a two fold purpose: (1) to set forth those major considerations in which decisions are required in selecting school buses, and (2) to provide suggestions for developing school bus specifications to be used in securing bid proposals.
