Abstract
The assessors were to provide this information to the Iowa Geological Survey. To implement this program, the Iowa Geological Survey, in cooperation with the Iowa State Association of Assessors and the Iowa Department of Revenue, developed a postal-card, well-inquiry questionnaire. Based on an estimate of the number of rural dwellings 250,000 cards were distributed.
