Abstract

This report serves multiple purposes. First, it is a resource for increased understanding of watershed and water quality conditions in and around Lake of the Hills. Second, it satisfies the Federal Clean Water Act requirement to develop a Total Maximum Daily Load (TMDL) for impaired waterbodies. Third, it provides a foundation for locally-driven watershed and water quality improvement efforts. Finally, it may be useful for obtaining financial assistance to implement projects to remove Lake of the Hills from the federal 303(d) list of impaired waters.
