Abstract

The purpose of this manual is to develop and publish the accounting standards for area education agencies, provide guidance to A£A officials, and assure an organized method to maintain a uniform financial accounting system that abides with generally accepted accounting principles. This publication is to be considered an authoritative description of the area education agencies' accounting system.
