Abstract
This report contains an analysis of some of the social and economic characteristics of the residents of Ankeny, a rapidly growing town located on the northern outskirts of the City of Des Moines. The analysis was undertaken to provide information to the Ankeny Planning Commission to assist them in developing plans for community and public services to meet the needs of Ankeny' s rapidly expanding population .
