Abstract
This book of teacher tributes, Iowans and former Iowans of all ages with a wide range of ages, occupations, backgrounds, and experiences share how their teachers motivated them by encouraging them to "play the sunset." Reading these expressions of gratitude helps one better appreciate the influence our teachers have had on us and on our society at large.
