Abstract
Title VI of the Federal Water Pollution Control Act and Iowa Code Sections 455B.291-455B.299, the Clean Water State Revolving Fund (CWSRF) Program finances wastewater treatment, sewer rehabilitation, stormwater quality improvements, and nonpoint source (NPS) projects. As of June 30, 2023, Iowa’s CWSRF Programs have provided over $4 billion in financial assistance for wastewater infrastructure, agricultural best management practices, and other water quality projects since 1989. With the State Fiscal Year (SFY) 2025 Intended Use Plan (IUP) and future program plans, Iowa’s SRF will continue to help Iowans protect public health and the environment through investing in Iowa’s water.
