Abstract
The Iowa SBYSP was patterned after the school-based program in the state of New Jersey, and has also incorporated ideas from family resource centers operating in Kentucky and Connecticut through conferences and in-service training. These multi-service school-based programs are similar in concept to school-based health clinics, but provide a broader range of service, within a family centered approach.
