Abstract
This study is of general methodological nature. It is restricted to a particular set of decisions namely, choices with respect to cattle feeding over the economic horizon of a single year. It also refers to a particular age, tenure and geographic strata of farm m:magers. It has been so restricted because it is an initial investigation relating formal choice theories to farmer decisions.
