Abstract
This study has three major objectives: (1) to derive production functions for farms operated under different leasing and tenure arrangements, (2) to compare the marginal productivity of resources used under these various situations, (3) to explore the use of computed marginal productivities as a basis of allocating income shares to tenant and landlord. The data which serve as the basis of the study arc from sample surveys in the Tama-Muscatine soil area of east-central Iowa, the Clarion-Webster soil area of northern Iowa.
