Abstract
This study is designed to determine the capital levels under which pasture improvement and renovation are profitable for a particular situation in southern Iowa. It considers pasture improvement in the framework of farm management where capital and labor can be used for many alternatives. The problem is to deter mine the most profitable all location of capital, labor' and land among the many investment opportunities of the farm. Pasture improvement is but one of these investment opportunities.
