Abstract

This publication is a summary of revised estimates relating to various livestock and poultry data for Iowa covering the period 1965- 72. The original estimates for the period were released in quarterly and annual reports, based primarily on survey returns from livestock producers. Later these estimates were reviewed in relationship to slaughter records and revised when necessary. For this publication all of the above indications plus an analysis of the 1969 U. S. Census of Agriculture were considered.
