Abstract

This report is divided into five chapters: Chapter One, statistical data relative to nursing in Iowa; Chapter Two, preparatory education; Chapter Three, continuing education; Chapter Four, nursing practice. The recommendations of the Commission appear in Chapter Five. This commission report makes recommendations regarding the practice of nursing, Code of Iowa and the Rules and Regulations of the Iowa Board of Nursing, as well as general recommendations regarding nursing education, continuing education and nursing practice.
