Abstract
The development of an economical, comprehensive statewide communications plan was recognized to be necessary by the EMS Advisory Council. The Council acted by employing SPECTRA ASSOCIATES, INC., an Iowa based firm of communication system specialists, to perform an in-depth study of the present Iowa EMS system and in cooperation with the EMS Advisory Council, to develop a detailed EMS communications plan for implementation in Iowa.
