Abstract
The Iowa State ConfereJce on Education, which was held in Des Moines on December 9 and 10, had its origin in Public Law 530. This law authorized State and White House Conferences at which representative educators and laymen could study and exchange views in connection with outstanding problems and issues in the field of education.
