Abstract
The plan outlined in this bulletin provides for the continuance of the new and modernized framework and nomenclature for certificates, first announced by the State Board in June, 1954. It eliminates many types of certificates formerly issued by converting them into equivalent new classes of certificates as described herein. The State Board has terminated its approval of each two-year college program for the preparation of elementary-school teachers, effective August 31, 1958, and also its approval of each two-year portion of a four-year college program for the preparation of elementary-school teachers, effective August 31, 1960.
