Abstract

Special education programs and services must be made available to all children requiring special education. For all persons referred to in section 12.1 of these rules, required services include screening, assessment and evaluation to ascertain whether a pupil is in need of special education, remedial or supportive instruction and habilitation, counseling or other aid in order to permit each child requiring special education to benefit from an educational program or service or to perform reasonably therein.
