Abstract
General accreditation standards are intended to fulfill the state's responsibility for making available an appropriate educational program that has high expectations for all students in Iowa. These rules include revisions that specify requirements to meet compliance with House File 2272. They were incorporated into Division VIII, Chapter 12. House File 2272 requires the incorporation of accountability for student achievement into the education standards and accreditation process.
