Abstract
Iowa State Government's CQI effort had its formal beginnings in April 1991 when a series of executive awareness sessions were initiated to increase the know ledge level of leadership regarding continuous quality improvement. Since then, CQI in Iowa State Government has moved ahead using a two track approach. The first track provides general information, training and assistance to all interested agencies. The second track offers intensive support to process improvement teams.
