Abstract
The major purpose of this booklet is to summarize the knowledge that has been acquired concerning problems related to the use of alcohol in Iowa. The manual to be useful to professionals and agencies; e.g., hospitals, physicians, police, clergy, etc., who by the nature of their work routinely encounter alcoholics; to policy makers, administrators and other who see a more effective and humane program for dealing with alcoholics to the public.
