Abstract
The format of the this report is designed to indicate the outcomes of a one year study as they relate to the Iowa state education agency's objectives. During the 1965-66 school year, a new organizational structure for the State Education Agency (SEA) was adopted by the State Board of Public Instruction. This reorganized structure included a Planning, Development, and Evaluation staff. The primary purpose for which the Planning, Development, and Evaluation staff was created, was to be responsible for the development of new programs and concepts of education as assigned by the State Superintendent of Public Instruction.
