Abstract

The Executive Council of Iowa is the governing body for state employees Deferred Compensation Plans provided by Code of Iowa, 1973. The law provides that the governing body approve all policies sold to employees under its Jurisdiction . The Executive Council of Iowa hereby approves for sale to state employees under the Deferred Compensation Plan any life insurance or annuity policy, either individual or group, that has been approved by the Insurance Department of Iowa for sale in the State of Iowa. The Executive Council of Iowa hereby authorizes the State Comptroller, or his designated representative, to sign for the employer as their designated agent the supplement to compensation agreement, and other documents necessary for the implementation of each contract.
