Abstract
This booklet explains what an ideal training school should be like. That includes having a drill tower at least four stories high. Many cities cannot afford such a drill tower. The Waterloo Fire Department could not afford one, but they used a three-story building instead and built a platform on the roof to make it taller. Instructions are included on how the firemen were trained using this building.
