Abstract
Its second annual meeting, the Iowa Rehabilitation Association wished to have a program of substance in a current problem area of central concern to all of its members. From their own experiences, members of the program committee saw the need for focusing the attention of Association members and the community on the full range of rehabilitation needs of elderly citizens. In addition, the committee recognized the desirability of bringing to the meetings some newer concepts, program descriptions, and research reports developed in the last decade, an era of profound change and increased concern and activity regarding, "Age, Disability, and Rehabilitation."
