Abstract

THE convenience of soft water and the economic loss chargeable to a hard water supply is rapidly becoming understood thruout Iowa. The increasing number of requests for information and advice relative to the most advantageous method of treatment and suitable equipment, show an awakening appreciation of the desirableness and economy of softened water. It is the aim of this bulletin to take up in detail and attempt to answer the problems confronting the average Iowa family when considering the installation of a domestic water softener.
