Abstract
The following is the 16th Revision of the Iowa Hospital Plan for construction of hospitals and other health facilities. The proposals, toward providing a pattern of reasonable statewide service facilities, are based upon usage, demand, existing capabilities and inventories based upon usage, demand, existing capabilities and inventories based on the most recent reports, field notes, and filed data available. The following pages present a quick accurate picture of each hospital in the state and in turn does align the information to indicate its effect on the total service area. The information is classified as to maternity service and to medical-surgical service.
