Abstract
Job Training Partnership Act (JTPA) to replace the Comprehensive Employment and Training Act (CETA) as of October 1, 1983. The purpose of JTPA is to provide job training and related services to economically disadvantaged adults and youth and other individuals facing serious barriers to employment so that they can enter the labor force and obtain productive employment.
