Abstract
The subject matter of this bulletin deals chiefly with three principal classes of city waste: garbage, ashes and rubbish. Collection methods, costs of collection, and methods of disposal are included. The application of various methods of waste disposal in Iowa vary, but are influenced by the size of the population in each town. Methods of refuse collection and disposal in the larger cities of Iowa are discussed.
