Abstract
This committee studied current energy efficiency efforts and the economic and environmental benefits of various energy efficiency measures. They made recommendations to encourage cooperative efforts by governmental units, utility companies, consumers, regulators, and advisory groups and which promote and implement more aggressive, cost effective, and energy efficient programs.
