Abstract
This report seeks to review the timeliness and order of restitution payments imposed by Iowa’s court system. Section 915.100 of the Iowa Code1 provides for the rights of victims to request restitution for criminal cases resulting in a conviction. Victims can request compensation for expenses such as; medical bills, lost wages, stolen property, transportation, and counseling.
