Abstract
The U.S. Food and Drug Administration’s (FDA) Food Safety Modernization Act’s (FSMA) Produce Safety Rule establishes standards for the safe growing, harvesting, packing, and holding of fruits and vegetables grown for human consumption. Many Iowa produce farms a may qualify for an Exemption or Qualified Exemption from the Produce Safety Rule. This informational sheets are produced by Iowa Department of Agriculture and Land Stewardship.
