Abstract
Healthcare-associated infections (HAIs) continue to be a health problem in the United States. Acquiring a healthcare-associated infection is a potential risk to anyone who has invasive medical treatment, surgery, is hospitalized, or otherwise receives care in a variety of healthcare settings. This report is information about the healthcare infections produced by the Iowa Department of Public Health.
