Abstract
The 1992 fiscal year was an award-winning year for the DNR. We received the prestigious EPA Administrator's Pollution Prevention Award for Iowa's "Agriculture Energy-Environmental Initiative," selected from 840 projects submitted for the award. And, Iowa's REAP program was one of only 20 programs nationwide that received the National Environmental Awards Council's Renew America Award, from a field of 1,600 other programs submitted.
