Abstract
The Iowa State Board of Education (State Board) adopted new charter school rules under Iowa Administrative Code Chapter 19 (“Charter Schools”) and amended Chapter 68 (“Iowa Public Charter and Innovation Zone Schools”). These changes were made to reflect the legislative changes of House File (HF) 813, as amended by the 2021 Iowa Acts, HF 847. These rules will become effective on January 19, 2022.
